I don’t support the military. And I don’t support war. I don’t believe that they’re actually fighting “for our country” it’s obvious that they’re just in it for the money and benefits. Our tax dollars could be spent on health care and education, shit that actually matters. But instead it’s spent on weapons and wars, which isn’t beneficial to regular citizens. It’s only beneficial to the military and government, not the people. Fighting for freedom? Your freedom is controlled by the government anyways, and the more power you give to them, the less power you’ll have. So think about it. Do you want people joining the military? To make the government even stronger? Do you want them to eat your tax dollars and go to war, when it really isn’t going to do much for you but only for them?

wow. okay, hold on.

I understand that it’s your right to not support the military.

But please understand that they are the very reason WHY you have the right to do so. There are a fuckton of countries out there that do not like us, and staying vigilant is something we will ALWAYS do.

In it for the money? The benefits? Are you fucking stupid? Or are you fucking stupid? You do realize that for the “money and benefits” they receive, they swear under oath to do what is asked of them, which may include going into harms way? You do realize that, these people, our troops, they do it not for the money, but for the purpose of serving our country? How can you be so ignorant as to say that our troops just do it for the benefits. You really are a fucking idiot.

You don’t support war? This nation, as well as MANY OTHER nations, know that war will always be around. To wish for no war is to wish that everyone in the world will be the same. The only way war could never exist is if the world was under one single government, and every single person on Earth would agree with each other. Any person with a decent amount of brain cells would know that shit would NOT happen (but it’s apparent you’re lacking some since you think otherwise)  The history of mankind is closely tied with war and conflict, and it’s not going anywhere. I’m not saying we, the United States have to wage war all the time, but just know that it’s always going to be around, no matter what. The world isn’t some happy place where every country gets along with each other.

Fighting for freedom? My freedom is controlled by the government? Really? No shit, sherlock! They’re called LAWS for a reason. You make it sound as if we’re in some kind of nation that won’t let us do what we want. You, yourself, have the freedom to be a fucking idiot by writing this post. The government isn’t stopping you. You also speak about “giving the government power.” Which makes sense. That is why I want less government as possible. But apparently, a bunch of dickwads like yourself can’t realize that most of you want the government to do everything: health care, education, welfare, etc.

You talk as if the people who join the military act as the “hammer” of the government to bring down upon the people, when in fact the people who join the military are the ones who would risk their lives to protect you and your loved ones.

People like yourself have no idea what it takes to serve this country. It is simply an act of selflessness. Many people hear the call, and they answer. They answer the call because they want to protect this country. They are not in it for the benefits. They are not in it for the money. It just so happens that this country likes to take care of it’s service members and respect them instead of treating them like useless pawns.

You know what? Fuck you. You have the right to believe what you want, but I also have the right to think you’re a fucking dumbshit.

Maddd respect ^
